يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their outer wraps close over themselves. That makes it more likely that they will be known for what they are and not be troubled. God is Forgiving, Merciful.
اے نبی! اپنی بیویوں، بیٹیوں اور مومنوں کی عورتوں سے کہہ دیں کہ وہ گھر سے نکلتے وقت اپنی چادروں کا کچھ حصہ اپنے اوپر لٹکا لیا کریں، یہ اس بات کے زیادہ قریب ہے کہ وہ پہچانی جائیں کہ پاکدامن آزاد عورتیں ہیں تو انہیں اوباش لوگ تنگ نہ کریں۔ اور اللہ اس معاملے میں بخشنے والا اور ان پر رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
