ٱلنَّبِىُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ إِلَّآ أَن تَفْعَلُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِكُم مَّعْرُوفًا كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَسْطُورًا
The Prophet is closer to the believers than they are to their own selves: in what he calls them to, while their own selves call them the other way, for he asks of them nothing but their own good. And his wives are their mothers, in the sanctity of marrying them. And those tied by kinship are closer to one another in God's Book than the rest of the believers and the emigrants, except that you should do good to those who are your friends. That was written down in the Book.
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مومنوں کے اپنے نفسوں سے بھی زیادہ ان کے حق دار ہیں، اس میں جس چیز کی طرف وہ انہیں بلاتے ہیں جبکہ ان کا نفس انہیں کسی اور طرف بلاتا ہے، کیونکہ وہ ان کی بھلائی کے سوا کچھ نہیں چاہتے، اور ان کی بیویاں ان کی مائیں ہیں نکاح کی حرمت کے لحاظ سے۔ اور رشتہ دار اللہ کے حکم میں میراث کے معاملے میں دوسرے مومنوں اور مہاجرین سے زیادہ حق دار ہیں، سوائے اس کے کہ تم اپنے دوستوں کے ساتھ کوئی نیک وصیت یا عطیہ کرو، اور یہ حکم لوح محفوظ میں لکھا ہوا تھا۔
