وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِيثَٰقَهُمْ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٍ وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظًا
And when God took the covenant from the prophets, and from you, and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary. He took from them a firm and binding covenant.
اور اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب ہم نے انبیاء سے پیغام پہنچانے اور توحید پر پختہ عہد لیا، اور یہ عہد خاص طور پر آپ سے بھی لیا اور نوح، ابراہیم، موسی اور عیسی بن مریم علیہم السلام سے بھی لیا، اور ہم نے ان سب سے ایک سخت اور مضبوط عہد لیا جسے توڑنا جائز نہیں۔
