وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ
And God gave David a bounty from Him, prophethood and a Book, and said: mountains, echo the glorifying back with him, and you birds too. And God made the iron soft in his hands.
اور اللہ نے داؤد علیہ السلام کو اپنی طرف سے ایک بڑی نعمت عطا کی، یعنی نبوت اور ایک کتاب، اور فرمایا: اے پہاڑو، اس کے ساتھ تسبیح دہراؤ، اور اے پرندو، تم بھی۔ اور اللہ نے لوہے کو ان کے ہاتھوں میں نرم کر دیا۔
