وَقَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ أَمْوَٰلًا وَأَوْلَٰدًا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
And they said: we have more wealth and more children than you, and we are not the ones to be punished, either because there is no punishment at all, or because what they had been given was a mark of honour.
اور انہوں نے کہا: ہم تم سے زیادہ مال اور اولاد رکھتے ہیں، اور ہمیں عذاب نہیں دیا جائے گا، خواہ اس کی وجہ یہ ہو کہ سرے سے کوئی عذاب ہے ہی نہیں، یا ان کے خیال میں یہ نعمتیں ان کی عزت افزائی کی علامت تھیں۔
