قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِم بَلْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ ٱلْجِنَّ أَكْثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤْمِنُونَ
They say: glory be to You. You are our protector, not they, and there was never any tie between us and them. Rather, they were worshipping the jinn, and most of them believed in the jinn.
وہ کہیں گے: تو پاک ہے، تو ہی ہمارا کارساز ہے، یہ لوگ نہیں، اور ہمارے اور ان کے درمیان کبھی کوئی تعلق نہیں رہا۔ بلکہ یہ لوگ جنوں کی عبادت کیا کرتے تھے، اور ان میں سے اکثر جنوں پر ہی ایمان رکھتے تھے۔
