وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحًا غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُم مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَن تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ ٱلنَّذِيرُ فَذُوقُوا۟ فَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِن نَّصِيرٍ
And they cry out in it, calling for help: our Lord, take us out, and we will do right, not the thing we used to do. Did God not give you a life long enough for anyone who would take heed to take heed in? And the warner came to you. So taste it. The wrongdoers have no helper.
اور وہ اس میں چیخ چیخ کر مدد مانگیں گے: ہمارے رب، ہمیں نکال دے، ہم اچھے عمل کریں گے، نہ کہ وہ کام جو ہم پہلے کرتے تھے۔ کیا اللہ نے تمہیں اتنی عمر نہیں دی تھی کہ جو نصیحت لینا چاہتا وہ اس میں نصیحت لے لیتا؟ اور تمہارے پاس خبردار کرنے والا بھی آ چکا تھا۔ سو اب چکھو، ظالموں کے لیے کوئی مددگار نہیں۔
