بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
Knew how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honoured. The commentaries note what he did not say: not one word against the people who had just killed him - only a wish that they knew what he now knew.
کاش وہ جان لیتے کہ میرے رب نے مجھے کس بنا پر بخش دیا اور مجھے باعزت لوگوں میں شامل کر لیا۔ اس نے یہ تمنا اس لیے کی کہ وہ بھی ایمان لے آئیں اور یہی مقام پائیں، پس وہ زندگی میں بھی اپنی قوم کا خیر خواہ رہا اور مرنے کے بعد بھی۔
