إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلًا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
An image of their state: collars on their necks reaching to the chins, forcing their heads up. The commentaries explain that the collar binds the hands to the neck, so nothing can be reached for - least of all the guidance.
ان کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے کسی کی گردن میں طوق ڈال دیا گیا ہو جس میں ہاتھ بھی گردن کے ساتھ ٹھوڑی تک جکڑ دیے گئے ہوں، اس لیے ان کے سر اوپر کو اٹھے رہ گئے ہیں اور وہ انہیں جھکا نہیں سکتے۔ یہ تکبر اور ہٹ دھرمی کی تصویر ہے کہ وہ حق کی طرف گردن نہیں موڑتے اور نہ اس کے آگے سر جھکاتے ہیں۔
