ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ فِى مَنَامِهَا فَيُمْسِكُ ٱلَّتِى قَضَىٰ عَلَيْهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
God takes the souls at the time of their death, and takes those that have not died in their sleep. He holds back the one for which He has decreed death and sends the other back until an appointed term. In that are signs for people who reflect.
اللہ روحوں کو ان کی موت کے وقت قبض کر لیتا ہے، اور اس روح کو بھی قبض کرتا ہے جو ابھی نہیں مری بلکہ نیند میں ہے، پھر جس روح پر موت کا فیصلہ کر چکا ہو اسے روک لیتا ہے، اور دوسری روح کو ایک مقررہ وقت تک واپس بھیج دیتا ہے۔ بیشک اس قبض اور واپسی میں غور و فکر کرنے والوں کے لیے بڑی نشانیاں ہیں۔
