إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِمَآ أَرَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلْخَآئِنِينَ خَصِيمًا
We have sent down the Book to you with the truth, so that you may judge between people by what God has shown you; so do not be an advocate for the treacherous. The commentaries carry the same occasion: a theft, and a man who threw the blame on someone innocent and nearly had it believed.
