وَلَا تُجَٰدِلْ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا
And do not plead for those who betray themselves. God does not love the one who is treacherous and steeped in sin. The commentaries note the wording: the treachery is called betrayal of themselves, because its harm comes back on them.
اور ان لوگوں کی طرف سے مت جھگڑو جو اپنے آپ سے خیانت کرتے ہیں۔ اللہ اس شخص کو پسند نہیں کرتا جو بہت خیانت کرنے والا اور بہت گناہ گار ہو۔ مفسرین اس الفاظ پر غور کرتے ہیں: خیانت کو اپنے آپ سے خیانت اس لیے کہا گیا ہے کہ اس کا نقصان آخرکار انہی پر لوٹتا ہے۔
