وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٌ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَىْءٍ وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمْ تَكُن تَعْلَمُ وَكَانَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ عَظِيمًا
Were it not for God's bounty upon you and His mercy, a party of them would have set out to lead you astray — but they lead only themselves astray, and they do not harm you at all. God has sent down upon you the Book and the wisdom, and taught you what you did not know; God's bounty upon you has been immense.
اور اگر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت تم پر نہ ہوتی تو ان میں سے ایک گروہ نے تمہیں گمراہ کرنے کا پکا ارادہ کر لیا تھا، مگر وہ صرف اپنے آپ کو ہی گمراہ کر رہے ہیں، اور تمہیں کچھ بھی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتے۔ اور اللہ نے تم پر کتاب اور حکمت نازل کی، اور تمہیں وہ کچھ سکھایا جو تم نہیں جانتے تھے، اور اللہ کا فضل تم پر بہت بڑا رہا ہے۔
