وَإِنِ ٱمْرَأَةٌ خَافَتْ مِنۢ بَعْلِهَا نُشُوزًا أَوْ إِعْرَاضًا فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَآ أَن يُصْلِحَا بَيْنَهُمَا صُلْحًا وَٱلصُّلْحُ خَيْرٌ وَأُحْضِرَتِ ٱلْأَنفُسُ ٱلشُّحَّ وَإِن تُحْسِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا
If a woman fears defiance or neglect from her husband, there is no blame on the two of them if they settle terms of peace between themselves — and settlement is better. Souls are brought close to grasping; but if you do good and guard yourselves, God is aware of what you do.
اور اگر کوئی عورت اپنے شوہر سے سرکشی یا بےرخی کا خوف محسوس کرے، تو دونوں پر کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ آپس میں کوئی صلح کر لیں، اور صلح ہی بہتر ہے۔ اور نفسوں میں لالچ رکھ دیا گیا ہے، لیکن اگر تم بھلائی کرو اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو تو بےشک اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب باخبر ہے۔
