وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰٓ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُوا۟ ٱلْخَبِيثَ بِٱلطَّيِّبِ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوٓا۟ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حُوبًا كَبِيرًا
Give the orphans their property, and do not swap the bad for the good, and do not consume their property along with your own — that is a great sin. The commentaries describe the same trick together: a guardian putting his own poor goods in place of the orphan's sound ones and calling it an exchange.
یتیموں کا مال جو تمہاری تحویل میں ہے، بالغ ہونے پر پورا پورا ان کے حوالے کر دو، اور خبردار رہو کہ اپنی بری اور گھٹیا چیز ان کے مال کی اچھی چیز کے بدلے میں نہ ڈال دو۔ اور نہ ہی یتیموں کے مال کو اپنے مال کے ساتھ ملا کر یوں کھاؤ کہ حساب ہی نہ رہے، کیونکہ یہ بہت بڑا گناہ ہے۔ مفسرین نے اسی ایک چال کو بار بار بیان کیا ہے کہ سرپرست اپنا ردی مال یتیم کے عمدہ مال کی جگہ رکھ کر اسے تبادلہ کا نام دے دیتا ہے۔
