يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ سُنَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَيَتُوبَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
God wants to make things clear to you, to guide you to the ways of those before you, and to turn to you in mercy. God is knowing, wise. The commentaries read the ways of those before you as the practice of the prophets, so that these rulings are not a new invention.
اللہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہارے لیے چیزیں واضح کر دے، اور تمہیں ان لوگوں کے طریقوں کی طرف رہنمائی دے جو تم سے پہلے گزر چکے، اور تم پر رحمت کے ساتھ متوجہ ہو۔ اللہ خوب جاننے والا اور بڑی حکمت والا ہے۔ مفسرین ان پہلے لوگوں کے طریقوں سے مراد انبیاء کا طریقہ لیتے ہیں، تاکہ یہ احکام کوئی نئی ایجاد نہ لگیں بلکہ اسی پرانی راہ کا تسلسل ہوں۔
