وَمَاذَا عَلَيْهِمْ لَوْ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِمْ عَلِيمًا
What harm would it have done them to believe in God and the Last Day and spend from what God has provided them? God knows all about them.
انہیں آخر کیا نقصان پہنچتا اگر وہ سچے دل سے اللہ اور یومِ آخرت پر ایمان لے آتے اور اسی مال میں سے خرچ کرتے جو اللہ نے انہیں عطا کیا ہے؟ ان کے لیے کوئی نقصان نہ تھا، نقصان تو اسی راستے میں ہے جو وہ اختیار کیے بیٹھے ہیں، اور اللہ ان کے تمام احوال کو خوب جانتا ہے۔
