وَإِذَا جَآءَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْنِ أَوِ ٱلْخَوْفِ أَذَاعُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِلَىٰٓ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَنۢبِطُونَهُۥ مِنْهُمْ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَٱتَّبَعْتُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
When news of safety or fear reaches them, they broadcast it. Had they referred it to the Messenger and to those in authority among them, the ones who investigate matters would have known what to make of it. Were it not for God's bounty upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except a few.
اور جب ان کے پاس امن یا خوف کی کوئی خبر آئے تو وہ اسے پھیلا دیتے ہیں۔ اگر وہ اسے رسول اور اپنے میں سے صاحبانِ امر کی طرف لوٹا دیتے تو ان میں سے استنباط کرنے والے لوگ اس کی حقیقت جان لیتے۔ اور اگر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت تم پر نہ ہوتی تو تم میں سے تھوڑے لوگوں کے سوا سب شیطان کی پیروی کر بیٹھتے۔
