وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُّؤْمِنٌ مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَٰنَهُۥٓ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّىَ ٱللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ وَإِن يَكُ كَٰذِبًا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُۥ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى يَعِدُكُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ
And a believing man from Pharaoh's own family, who kept his faith hidden, said: are you going to kill a man for saying my Lord is God, when he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is lying, his lie is on him; and if he is truthful, some of what he promises you will strike you. God does not guide one who goes to excess and lies.
اور فرعون کے خاندان میں سے ایک مومن آدمی، جو اپنا ایمان چھپائے ہوئے تھا، بولا: کیا تم ایک آدمی کو صرف اس لیے قتل کرتے ہو کہ وہ کہتا ہے میرا رب اللہ ہے، جبکہ وہ تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے واضح دلیلیں لے کر آیا ہے؟ اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو اس کا جھوٹ اسی پر ہے، اور اگر وہ سچا ہے تو جس بات کا وہ تم سے وعدہ کرتا ہے اس میں سے کچھ تمہیں پہنچ کر رہے گا۔ اللہ اسے ہدایت نہیں دیتا جو حد سے بڑھنے والا اور جھوٹا ہو۔
