كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍۭ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِيَأْخُذُوهُ وَجَٰدَلُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا۟ بِهِ ٱلْحَقَّ فَأَخَذْتُهُمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ
Before them the people of Noah denied, and the factions after them; every community schemed against their messenger to seize him, and argued with falsehood to drive out the truth by it. Then God seized them - and how was His punishment.
ان سے پہلے نوح کی قوم نے جھٹلایا، اور ان کے بعد آنے والے گروہوں نے بھی۔ ہر امت نے اپنے رسول کو پکڑنے کا ارادہ کیا، اور باطل کے ذریعے جھگڑا کیا تاکہ حق کو مٹا دیں۔ پھر اللہ نے انہیں پکڑ لیا - اور اس کی سزا کیسی تھی۔
