أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَانُوٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَءَاثَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
Have they not travelled in the land and seen what became of those before them? They were more numerous, stronger in power and in the traces they left in the land - yet all they earned did not help them.
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی اور دیکھا نہیں کہ ان سے پہلے لوگوں کا کیا انجام ہوا؟ وہ ان سے زیادہ تعداد میں تھے، طاقت میں بھی زیادہ مضبوط اور زمین میں چھوڑے گئے نشانات میں بھی بڑھ کر تھے - پھر بھی جو کچھ وہ کماتے تھے وہ ان کے کچھ کام نہ آیا۔
