وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُوا۟ لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ
And God assigned them companions who made what lay before them and behind them look fine to them. And the word proved true against them, among communities of jinn and people that passed before them. They were indeed the losers.
اور اللہ نے ان کے لیے کچھ ساتھی مقرر کر دیے جنہوں نے ان کے سامنے اور پیچھے کی چیزوں کو ان کے لیے خوشنما بنا دیا۔ اور ان پر وہی بات ثابت ہو گئی جو جنوں اور انسانوں کی ان قوموں پر ثابت ہوئی تھی جو ان سے پہلے گزر چکی تھیں۔ وہ واقعی خسارہ اٹھانے والے تھے۔
