وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَانًا أَعْجَمِيًّا لَّقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥٓ ءَا۬عْجَمِىٌّ وَعَرَبِىٌّ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هُدًى وَشِفَآءٌ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ فِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمًى أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يُنَادَوْنَ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
Had God made it a Qur'an in a foreign tongue, they would have said: if only its signs were set out in detail - a foreign book and an Arab messenger? Say: for those who believe it is guidance and healing; and those who do not believe have a deafness in their ears, and it is a blindness for them. They are being called from a place far off.
اور اگر ہم اسے کسی غیر عربی زبان کا قرآن بناتے تو وہ کہتے: اس کی آیات تفصیل سے کیوں بیان نہیں کی گئیں؟ ایک غیر عربی کتاب اور ایک عربی رسول؟ کہہ دو: یہ ایمان لانے والوں کے لیے ہدایت اور شفا ہے، اور جو لوگ ایمان نہیں لاتے ان کے کانوں میں بہرا پن ہے، اور یہ ان کے لیے اندھا پن ہے۔ انہیں گویا بہت دور کی جگہ سے پکارا جا رہا ہے۔
