وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ
And so it was: God never sent a warner to a town before you but its comfortable ones said: we found our fathers on a way, and we are following their footsteps.
اور اسی طرح ہم نے آپ سے پہلے کسی بستی میں کوئی ڈرانے والا نہیں بھیجا مگر اس کے خوشحال لوگوں نے یہی کہا: ہم نے اپنے باپ دادا کو ایک طریقے پر پایا، اور ہم انہی کے نقشِ قدم کی پیروی کرنے والے ہیں۔
