وَزُخْرُفًا وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
and ornaments of gold. All of that is only the enjoyment of the life of this world; and the world to come with your Lord is for those who guard themselves.
اور سونے کی سجاوٹ بھی، اور یہ سب کچھ صرف دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان ہے، اور آخرت تمہارے رب کے پاس پرہیزگاروں ہی کے لیے ہے۔ مفسرین اس آیت کو دنیا کی ہر چمک دمک کو حقیر ٹھہرانے والی سمجھتے ہیں، خواہ وہ کتنی ہی بڑی کیوں نہ ہو۔
