أَفَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِۦ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَجَعَلَ عَلَىٰ بَصَرِهِۦ غِشَٰوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Have you seen the one who has taken his own desire as his god, and God has left him astray knowingly, and sealed his hearing and his heart and put a covering over his sight? Who will guide him after God? Will you not take heed?
بھلا تم نے اس شخص کو دیکھا جس نے اپنی خواہش کو اپنا معبود بنا لیا، اور اللہ نے اسے جانتے بوجھتے گمراہ کر دیا، اور اس کے کان اور دل پر مہر لگا دی، اور اس کی آنکھ پر پردہ ڈال دیا؟ تو اللہ کے بعد اسے کون ہدایت دے سکتا ہے؟ کیا پھر بھی تم نصیحت نہیں پکڑتے؟
