وَٱلَّذِى قَالَ لِوَٰلِدَيْهِ أُفٍّ لَّكُمَآ أَتَعِدَانِنِىٓ أَنْ أُخْرَجَ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ ٱلْقُرُونُ مِن قَبْلِى وَهُمَا يَسْتَغِيثَانِ ٱللَّهَ وَيْلَكَ ءَامِنْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَيَقُولُ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
And one who says to his parents: enough of you both - do you promise me that I will be brought out, when generations before me have passed away? And the two of them call on God for help: woe to you, believe; God's promise is true. But he says: this is nothing but the tales of the men of old.
اور وہ شخص جو اپنے والدین سے کہتا ہے، جب وہ اسے آخرت اور دوبارہ زندہ ہونے پر ایمان لانے کی دعوت دیتے ہیں: تف ہے تم دونوں پر، کیا تم مجھ سے یہ وعدہ کرتے ہو کہ مجھے قبر سے نکالا جائے گا، حالانکہ مجھ سے پہلے بہت سی امتیں گزر چکی ہیں اور کوئی واپس نہیں آیا؟ اور وہ دونوں اللہ سے مدد مانگتے ہوئے کہتے ہیں: تیری بربادی ہو، ایمان لے آ، بےشک اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے، تو وہ کہتا ہے: یہ تو صرف پہلوں کی من گھڑت کہانیاں ہیں۔
