فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنَّهُمَا ٱسْتَحَقَّآ إِثْمًا فَـَٔاخَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَوْلَيَٰنِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ لَشَهَٰدَتُنَآ أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَٰدَتِهِمَا وَمَا ٱعْتَدَيْنَآ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
And if it is discovered that the two have earned a sin, let two others take their place, from those with the closest claim, and let them swear by God: our testimony is truer than theirs, and we have not overstepped, or we would be among the wrongdoers.
پھر اگر معلوم ہو جائے کہ ان دونوں نے گناہ کا ارتکاب کیا تو ان کی جگہ دو اور آدمی کھڑے ہوں، ان لوگوں میں سے جن کا حق زیادہ قریب ہے، وہ اللہ کی قسم کھائیں کہ ہماری گواہی ان کی گواہی سے زیادہ سچی ہے، اور ہم نے زیادتی نہیں کی، ورنہ ہم ظالموں میں سے ہوں گے۔
