يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَآ أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُوا۟ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ
On the Day God gathers the messengers and says: what answer were you given? They say: we have no knowledge; You are the Knower of all that is hidden. The commentaries read the answer as the courtesy of servants before their Lord, and not as ignorance of what they were told.
جس دن اللہ رسولوں کو جمع کرے گا اور پوچھے گا کہ تمہیں کیا جواب دیا گیا؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہمیں کوئی علم نہیں، بے شک تو ہی غیب کی باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہے۔ مفسرین اس جواب کو اس دن کی ہولناکی کے سامنے بندوں کے ادب کے طور پر بیان کرتے ہیں، نہ کہ اپنی امتوں کے جوابات سے لاعلمی کے طور پر۔
