إِن تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِن تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
If You punish them, they are Your servants; and if You forgive them, You are the Mighty, the Wise. The commentaries all pause at the restraint of it: neither asking for the punishment nor pleading against it, but leaving it where it belongs.
