وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا نَصَٰرَىٰٓ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَٰقَهُمْ فَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ ٱلْعَدَاوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْنَعُونَ
And from those who said: we are Christians, We took their covenant; and they forgot a share of what they were reminded of. So We stirred up enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection, and God will inform them of what they used to do.
اور جن لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں، ہم نے ان سے بھی عہد لیا تھا، مگر وہ بھی اس نصیحت کا ایک حصہ بھول گئے جو انہیں دی گئی تھی۔ چنانچہ ہم نے قیامت کے دن تک ان کے درمیان دشمنی اور بغض ڈال دیا، اور اللہ انہیں ضرور بتائے گا کہ وہ کیا کرتے رہے۔
