يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍ قَدْ جَآءَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَٰبٌ مُّبِينٌ
People of the Scripture, Our Messenger has come to you, making clear to you much of what you used to hide of the Scripture, and passing over much. A light and a clear Book have come to you from God.
اے اہلِ کتاب، تمہارے پاس ہمارا رسول آ چکا ہے جو تمہارے لیے کتاب کی بہت سی وہ باتیں کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے جنہیں تم چھپاتے تھے، اور بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر بھی کرتا ہے۔ تمہارے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے ایک روشنی اور واضح کتاب آ چکی ہے۔
