قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ٱدْخُلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَٰلِبُونَ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوٓا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Two men of those who feared God, on whom God had bestowed favour, said: enter upon them by the gate; once you have entered it you will be the victors. And put your trust in God, if you are believers. The commentaries name the two the same way: two of the chiefs who had gone in and seen the land for themselves.
اللہ سے ڈرنے والوں میں سے دو آدمیوں نے، جن پر اللہ نے انعام کیا تھا، کہا: ان پر دروازے سے داخل ہو جاؤ، جب تم اس میں داخل ہو جاؤ گے تو تم ہی غالب رہو گے، اور اللہ ہی پر بھروسا کرو اگر تم مومن ہو۔ مفسرین نے ان دونوں کو یوں پہچانا ہے کہ یہ وہی دو سردار تھے جو خود اندر جا کر اس زمین کو دیکھ چکے تھے۔
