فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُۥ كَيْفَ يُوَٰرِى سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰٓ أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَٰذَا ٱلْغُرَابِ فَأُوَٰرِىَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِى فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلنَّٰدِمِينَ
Then God sent a crow scratching in the ground, to show him how to cover his brother's body. He said: woe to me, am I unable to be like this crow and cover my brother's body? And he became one of the regretful.
پھر اللہ نے ایک کوا بھیجا جو زمین کھود رہا تھا تاکہ اسے دکھائے کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش کیسے چھپائے۔ اس نے کہا: افسوس مجھ پر، کیا میں اس کوے جیسا بھی نہ ہو سکا کہ اپنے بھائی کی لاش چھپا لیتا؟ پھر وہ پچھتانے والوں میں سے ہو گیا۔
