يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ مَاذَآ أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَكُلُوا۟ مِمَّآ أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ
They ask you what is made lawful for them. Say: the good things are made lawful for you, and what you have taught the hunting animals to catch, training them as God has taught you. So eat what they hold for you, and mention God's name over it, and be mindful of God; God is swift in reckoning. The commentaries agree on the conditions together: the animal must be trained, it must hold the catch for you and not eat it, and God's name is said at the release.
لوگ آپ سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ ان کے لیے کیا حلال کیا گیا ہے، فرما دیجیے: پاکیزہ چیزیں تمہارے لیے حلال ہیں، اور وہ شکاری جانور بھی جنہیں تم نے سدھایا ہو، انہیں اسی طرح تعلیم دیتے ہو جیسے اللہ نے تمہیں سکھایا ہے۔ سو جو وہ تمہارے لیے پکڑ رکھیں اسے کھاؤ، اور اس پر اللہ کا نام لو، اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو کیونکہ اللہ جلد حساب لینے والا ہے۔ مفسرین نے ان شرائط پر اتفاق کیا ہے کہ جانور سدھایا ہوا ہو، شکار کو تمہارے لیے روکے رکھے نہ خود کھائے، اور چھوڑتے وقت اللہ کا نام لیا جائے۔
