سَمَّٰعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّٰلُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ فَإِن جَآءُوكَ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُمْ أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَإِن تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَن يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْـًٔا وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ
Listeners to falsehood, devourers of unlawful gain. If they come to you, judge between them or turn away from them; if you turn away from them they will not harm you at all, and if you judge, judge between them in fairness. God loves those who deal fairly. The commentaries name the unlawful gain the same way: what is taken as a bribe over a judgement.
جھوٹ کے سننے کے عادی، حرام مال کھانے کے عادی، اگر یہ تمہارے پاس آئیں تو ان کے درمیان فیصلہ کر دو یا ان سے منہ پھیر لو، اور اگر تم منہ پھیر لو تو وہ تمہیں کچھ نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکیں گے، اور اگر تم فیصلہ کرو تو انصاف کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرو، بے شک اللہ انصاف کرنے والوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے۔
