يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَٱغْسِلُوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْمَرَافِقِ وَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَٱطَّهَّرُوا۟ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَىٰٓ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَآءَ أَحَدٌ مِّنكُم مِّنَ ٱلْغَآئِطِ أَوْ لَٰمَسْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا۟ مَآءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَٰكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
You who believe, when you rise for the prayer, wash your faces and your hands to the elbows, wipe your heads, and your feet to the ankles. If you are in a state requiring the full washing, purify yourselves. If you are ill or on a journey, or one of you has come from relieving himself, or you have touched women, and you find no water, then take clean earth and wipe your faces and your hands with it. God does not want to place hardship on you, but to purify you and to complete His favour upon you, that you may be thankful.
اے ایمان والو، جب تم نماز کے لیے اٹھو تو اپنے چہرے اور کہنیوں تک ہاتھ دھو لو، اپنے سروں کا مسح کرو اور ٹخنوں تک پاؤں دھو لو۔ اگر تم پر غسل واجب ہو تو پاکی حاصل کرو۔ اور اگر تم بیمار ہو یا سفر میں ہو، یا تم میں سے کوئی قضائے حاجت سے آیا ہو، یا تم نے عورتوں کو چھوا ہو، اور پانی نہ پاؤ تو پاک مٹی سے تیمم کرو، اس سے اپنے چہروں اور ہاتھوں کا مسح کر لو۔ اللہ تم پر کوئی تنگی ڈالنا نہیں چاہتا بلکہ وہ تمہیں پاک کرنا اور اپنی نعمت تم پر پوری کرنا چاہتا ہے تاکہ تم شکر ادا کرو۔
