وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ يَدُ ٱللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُوا۟ بِمَا قَالُوا۟ بَلْ يَدَاهُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَٰنًا وَكُفْرًا وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ ٱلْعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلْبَغْضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ كُلَّمَآ أَوْقَدُوا۟ نَارًا لِّلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا ٱللَّهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
The Jews said: God's hand is tied. Their own hands are tied, and they are cursed for what they said. Rather both His hands are outspread, and He spends as He wills. What has been sent down to you from your Lord will increase many of them in defiance and refusal; and We have cast enmity and hatred between them until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindle a fire for war, God puts it out; and they strive to spread corruption in the land, and God does not love the corrupters. The commentaries agree on the sense of the tied hand: it is the way Arabic speaks of a miser.
اور یہود نے کہا کہ اللہ کا ہاتھ بندھا ہوا ہے، انہی کے ہاتھ بندھے ہوں اور جو کچھ انہوں نے کہا اس پر ان پر لعنت کی گئی، بلکہ اس کے دونوں ہاتھ کھلے ہوئے ہیں، وہ جیسے چاہتا ہے خرچ کرتا ہے۔ اور جو کچھ آپ کی طرف آپ کے رب کی طرف سے نازل کیا گیا ہے وہ ان میں سے بہت سوں کی سرکشی اور کفر میں ضرور اضافہ کرے گا، اور ہم نے قیامت کے دن تک ان کے درمیان دشمنی اور بغض ڈال دیا ہے۔ جب بھی وہ جنگ کی آگ بھڑکاتے ہیں اللہ اسے بجھا دیتا ہے، اور وہ زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں، اور اللہ فساد کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔
