قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰ تُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم مَّآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغْيَٰنًا وَكُفْرًا فَلَا تَأْسَ عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
Say: People of the Scripture, you stand on nothing until you uphold the Torah and the Gospel and what has been sent down to you from your Lord. What has been sent down to you from your Lord will increase many of them in defiance and refusal; so do not grieve over the refusing people.
کہہ دیجیے: اے اہلِ کتاب، تم کسی چیز پر نہیں ہو جب تک تورات اور انجیل اور جو کچھ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہاری طرف نازل کیا گیا اسے قائم نہ کرو۔ اور جو کچھ آپ کی طرف آپ کے رب کی طرف سے نازل کیا گیا ہے وہ ان میں سے بہت سوں کی سرکشی اور کفر میں ضرور اضافہ کرے گا، سو آپ کافر قوم پر افسوس نہ کریں۔
