لَقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَقَالَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يُشْرِكْ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَىٰهُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ
They have certainly refused who say that God is the Messiah son of Mary, when the Messiah himself said: Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord. Whoever sets up a partner with God, God has forbidden him the Garden and his refuge is the Fire, and the wrongdoers have no helpers. The commentaries make the same point about the wording: the argument is settled out of the mouth of the one they are exalting.
یقیناً وہ لوگ کافر ہو گئے جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ ہی مسیح ابنِ مریم ہے، حالانکہ مسیح نے خود کہا تھا: اے بنی اسرائیل، اللہ کی عبادت کرو جو میرا اور تمہارا رب ہے، بے شک جو اللہ کے ساتھ شرک کرے اللہ نے اس پر جنت حرام کر دی اور اس کا ٹھکانا آگ ہے، اور ظالموں کا کوئی مددگار نہیں۔
