لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ ٱلنَّاسِ عَدَٰوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱلْيَهُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُم مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا نَصَٰرَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
You will find the most hostile of people to the believers are the Jews and those who set up partners with God; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers are those who say: we are Christians. That is because among them are priests and monks, and because they are not arrogant.
آپ لوگوں میں سے مومنوں کی سب سے بڑھ کر دشمنی رکھنے والے یہود اور مشرکین کو پائیں گے، اور آپ مومنوں سے محبت میں سب سے قریب انہیں پائیں گے جنہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں، یہ اس لیے کہ ان میں عالم اور راہب ہیں اور وہ تکبر نہیں کرتے۔
