يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُۥٓ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَخَافُهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَهُۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
You who believe, God will surely test you with something of the game that your hands and your spears can reach, so that God may know who fears Him unseen. Whoever oversteps after that, for him is a painful punishment. The commentaries note the smallness of the test named: game that comes within easy reach, set beside the tests of wealth and life.
اے ایمان والو، اللہ ضرور تمہیں اس شکار کے ذریعے آزمائے گا جس تک تمہارے ہاتھ اور تمہارے نیزے پہنچ سکتے ہیں، تاکہ اللہ یہ جان لے کہ کون اس سے غائبانہ ڈرتا ہے۔ پھر جو اس کے بعد حد سے بڑھے اس کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے۔
