كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
Denial is not new and they are not the first at it. Before them the people of Noah denied, and the people of al-Rass, and Thamud - the people to whom Salih was sent. The commentaries connect al-Rass with a well their people were settled around.
