قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
They said: we have been sent to a people who are guilty. The commentaries name them at once - the people of Lot.
انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں ایک مجرم قوم کی طرف بھیجا گیا ہے۔ مفسرین نے فوراً ہی ان کا نام بھی بتا دیا ہے، یعنی یہ قومِ لوط علیہ السلام تھی جس کا ذکر یہاں ہو رہا تھا۔
