مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
Marked with your Lord, for those who went past all bounds. The commentaries read the marking as a mark set on each stone by God, and name the excess that brought it: their going to men, on top of their refusal to believe.
