فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
But they went beyond their Lord's command, and the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on. The commentaries place it at the end of the days they had been given, and read 'looking on' as its coming in open daylight.
لیکن انہوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرکشی کی، تو کڑک نے انہیں اس حال میں پکڑ لیا کہ وہ دیکھ رہے تھے۔ مفسرین نے اسے ان دنوں کے اختتام پر رکھا ہے جو انہیں دیے گئے تھے، اور دیکھ رہے تھے سے مراد یہ لی ہے کہ یہ عذاب کھلے دن کی روشنی میں آیا۔
