مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ
He seeks no provision from them, and does not ask them to feed Him. The commentaries take this as closing off a misreading of the verse before: the worship they were made for returns its benefit to them, and nothing of it returns to Him.
وہ ان سے نہ کوئی رزق چاہتا ہے اور نہ ہی چاہتا ہے کہ وہ اسے کھلائیں۔ مفسرین نے اسے پچھلی آیت کی ایک ممکنہ غلط فہمی کو بند کرنے کے طور پر لیا ہے: جس عبادت کے لیے وہ بنائے گئے تھے اس کا فائدہ خود انہی کو لوٹتا ہے، اور اس میں سے کچھ بھی اللہ کی طرف نہیں لوٹتا۔
