بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
By the Star when it goes down. The sura opens on an oath, and the commentaries agree on what it is sworn for: the statement that follows about the man they had known among them all his life.
