أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ
Will you then dispute with him over what he sees? The commentaries address this to those who were denying that he had seen anything at all, and read it as a rebuke for the arguing rather than an argument offered into it.
