أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱللَّٰتَ وَٱلْعُزَّىٰ
Have you considered al-Lat and al-Uzza? The sura turns from what was truly seen to what was not, and takes up three named things that were served in its place.
کیا تم نے لات اور عزیٰ پر غور کیا ہے؟ یہ سورت اس چیز سے مڑ جاتی ہے جو حقیقت میں دیکھی گئی، اس چیز کی طرف جو نہیں تھی، اور اس کی جگہ پوجی جانے والی تین نامزد چیزوں کا ذکر شروع کرتی ہے۔
